Renaissance Homes will guide you through the process, explaining the journey of building a custom home, the personal and financial commitment, and a realistic timeline. Building a custom home is a major undertaking, and before any decision are made, it is imperative to meet with financial experts to determine how you are going to finance the acquisition of the land and the construction of the home. Numerous lending options are available each with their own unique benefits. Renaissance has multiple relationships with trusted lending partners who can help you explore your options.

You’re not required to stick with this lender when you ultimately finance your purchase, but this process is a great way to vet mortgage providers. Also, a prequalification letter can make you a more competitive candidate in multiple-offer situations.

Phase 3: Site Selection & Evaluation

Not all building sites are created equal and this is one area where experience pays dividends. Our clients benefit from understanding the feasibility for each specific site and the costs associated with development. Renaissance is a boutique builder constructing only a handful of homes each year. This directly translates to more time being spent on-site overseeing the important construction details of your home. This coupled with our innovative pre-construction specification development process insures efficiency in the field and proper execution of the full design intent. Robust construction management software means your project will stay on schedule and you will always know where it stands.
